Parquet Staining & Colour Change in Central Singapore
Once the old varnish is sanded off, the bare timber can take a new colour. We test the stain on a hidden patch first so you can see how it looks on your wood before we do the whole floor.

How a job works
- WhatsApp us 3 or 4 photos of the floor, including a close-up and any damaged spots, plus your block or condo and the rooms you want done.
- Get a price. We reply with an estimate the same day, or visit within 1 to 3 days to measure and tap-test.
- Book a date. Jobs usually start 3 to 7 days after you confirm.
- We sand, fill and varnish, with dust extraction and doors taped off.
- Inspect together and pay by PayNow or bank transfer once you're happy.
Before we arrive
- Clear small items, rugs and anything fragile from the rooms.
- Tell us if you need help moving beds or wardrobes.
- Let us know about any leaks, termite history or areas that sound hollow.
- Check your condo's renovation rules: permit, lift booking and working hours.
- Keep pets and children out of the rooms during sanding and drying.
Aftercare
Dark colours show dust and scratches more than natural tones. Felt pads and a doormat at the entrance help.

Frequently asked questions
Can you make dark parquet lighter?
Sanding removes the old varnish and some surface colour, so the floor usually looks lighter. Some timbers, such as teak, stay warm in tone. A test patch shows what's possible.
Which colours are popular?
Natural, walnut and ebony are the most requested. Satin finishes are popular for darker colours because they show fewer marks.
Can you stain engineered timber?
Only if the top layer is thick enough to sand. We check before quoting.
